Free Spring Sports Camps

Check out some of the upcoming sports camps this Spring that are being offered for FREE (or for just $1) to area youth!  Choose from baseball, softball or football.  Help the kids shake off the cobwebs, as they say, and get active with one or more of the following clinics.  A nice opportunity to hone in on their skills or learn new ones.

Baseball Youth Clinic

Date: March 23rd

Time: 1-3 PM

Age: 10-18

The Sanford Powerhouse Academy is hosting a free baseball youth clinic with former World Series champion, Tim Laudner.

Softball Pitching Clinic

Date: March 25th

Time: 7-9:30 PM

Age: 9-18

Where: Legends Indoor Hitting & Training Facility, 1321 N Cleveland Ave

Cost: $1

Description: 

Sioux Falls People for Youth is sponsoring a final fast-pitch softball pitching clinic, where kids can learn from experienced coaches.  Each pitcher must bring their own catcher.  For more information click here.

South Dakota Junior Football Cougars Kids Day Camp

Date: April 6

Time: 9:30 AM - 12 PM

Grades: K-8th

This free camp offers a high-energy, non-contact event, allowing young athletes to develop and learn techniques for all positions.

South Dakota Junior Football Viking Kids Camp

Date: April 27

Time: 1-3 PM

Grades: K-8th
